New location!

Hey all, believe it or not, we're going to try again to get regular updates posted. The only thing is, we're not going to use this site anymore. You can find our latest updates at ArizonaAndersons.spaces.live.com.

Rapid-fire Update

Welcome to the new location of our blog! Home teachers are due any minute, so here’s a rapid-fire summary of where we’re at:

Julie – Doing a book report on Amelia Earhart. Asked if I could build her an airplane yesterday. (Not just a model – one she could fly around in!)

Joanne – Still sweet as ever. Usually talks someone in the family into playing Life with her most days of the week.

Jason – Playing basketball. His team is 1-2, but the 1 was a 60-12 victory over his friend’s team. He scored at least 8 of the points that we could tell.

Mark – Sooooo ready to be done with Elementary/Jr. High (our schools are K-8 in Peoria). Looking forward to getting into high school.

Michael – Sooooo ready to be done with anything. He’s become an amazing pianist – practicing at least 2 hours a day, more on weekends. He plays a lot of Jon Schmidt and William Joseph (really well, by the way). Oh yeah, he’s had his driver’s permit since November. Showing signs of potential improvement possibilities in his abilities.

Christine – Still running the household. Probably has skin cancer (the not-so-bad kind) – had a barnacle removed from her face a couple of weeks ago. Starting a business (more to come on that later).

Kent – soooo ready to be done writing. I’ve got to start in small steps like this so I get back into the habit.

One photo – My neice’s husband, John, took us rifle shooting on Thanksgiving (down in Sierra Vista). This picture is Mark’s first shotgun shot. My brother-in-law, Bruce, snapped the photo at almost the perfect moment.
